How compensation is worked out
The CICA value claims and award criminal injury compensation on a tariff scheme.
There are 25 individual levels of compensation, each one is worth an increasing amount of money. A level 1 award is worth £1,000. A level 2 award is worth £1,250. A level 3 award is worth £1,500 and so on............. A level 25 award is worth £250,000. Each specific injury has an appropriate award level................

Scarring to the head, minor visible disfigurement, level 3

Award of £4,400
